Made it on crypto, lost it on stocks: a Hyperliquid whale and the CBRS ticker
On 25 September this Hyperliquid wallet was up $18.8M. Today it is up $1.65M.
In between he withdrew $10M, moved the account from crypto into stock contracts and gave back $6.95M in a single exit on the CBRS ticker.
Today he is long ether again at 25x, and the price is 0.85% away from his liquidation line.

Account opened 13 August 2026. In September a big long on NEAR and INJ, from late September stock contracts on the xyz market inside Hyperliquid, from 15 October back to crypto with heavy leverage.
Two altcoins
The account appears on 13 August 2026. By 6 September $5.63M has come in. For the first two weeks he trades bitcoin, ether and stock contracts, and by 2 September he is already down $1.86M.
From 27 August he builds a long on NEAR and by 5 September takes it to 5.14 million coins. On 6 - 8 September he adds a long on INJ, 1.57 million coins. He holds both until the end of September.
Over that time NEAR goes from 1.93 to 4.95, 2.6 times higher. On 16 September his all-time result is +$0.87M, on 25 September +$18.81M. The account holds $23.9M.
So the $5.6M he put in turned into more than $18M of profit in a month.

Ten million
On 25 - 27 September he closes NEAR and INJ. On the evening of 26 September he withdraws $9,999,999 from the exchange in a single transfer.
That is almost twice what he put in. After the withdrawal the account holds $12.8M, and his all-time result is +$17.7M.
So by 26 September he had already taken out more than he brought, and still had $12.8M on the exchange.
From crypto to stocks
Hyperliquid lets outside teams launch their own markets on the exchange. One of them, xyz, trades contracts on stocks, indices, gold and currencies: Google, Amazon, Tesla, the S&P 500. Settlement there is in USDC too.
The whale moves over completely. From 27 September the account holds only contracts on the DRAM, INTC and MU tickers, no crypto at all.
In ten days the account shrinks from $12.8M to $10.1M. So for the first time since the withdrawal, the market is taking more from him than it gives.
One stock
On 3 - 6 October he closes DRAM, INTC and MU and builds a long on one contract, xyz:CBRS. By 7 October it holds 240,858 contracts at an average entry of 180.44. That is about $43M of position on a $9.6M account, roughly 4.5x leverage.
CBRS slides: 177 on 6 October, 164 on 9 October. On 12 October the price falls another 12% in a day, from 165.5 to 146.
On 12 October, from the afternoon into the evening, he sells the whole long at an average of 151.58. Minus $6.95M. Part of that loss had built up over the week as the price slid; on 12 October he locked it in.
So one position took almost 70% of the account he had on 6 October, in nine days.
Cyan line: long size, contracts; up to 12 October the daily average from funding records, on 12 October hourly from trades. Grey: xyz:CBRS price on Hyperliquid, hourly (right axis). Data frozen 22.10.2026.
Four more tickers
The same evening, 12 October, he opens longs on GOOGL and GME. On 14 October he sells GOOGL at 347.13 against an entry of 353.59, minus $0.75M, and opens a short on CRWV at 65.11.
CRWV moves up, and on 15 October he closes the short at 66.99: minus $1.58M.
On the evening of 14 October the account holds $4.0M and his all-time result is +$8.9M. So more than half of the peak is already gone.
A fresh $5.4M
On 15 October fresh money arrives: $2.39M, and six hours later another $3.0M. That evening he goes back to crypto: a long of 1,822 BTC at 82,409 and 15,270 ETH at 2,455. Together $187.6M on a $5.7M account, about 33x.
On 16 October he closes 1,188 BTC at 80,954 for -$1.73M and 11,698 ETH at 2,402 for -$0.63M.
On the evening of 17 October the exchange force-closes 4,008 ETH at 2,355 - 2,358: minus $358k. An hour later $199k lands in the account. On 18 October he closes the rest of the bitcoin for -$1.31M.
So on 18 October the account holds $2.7M. In four days the fresh $5.6M was gone, plus another $1.3M of the $4M that was there before.
What he is betting on now
On 19 - 20 October it is stocks again: DRAM, SOXL and TSLA bring +$0.55M together, GOOGL -$0.92M. On the evening of 20 October he opens a long of 14,798 ZEC at 1,243 with 10x leverage, about $18.4M.
Overnight into 21 October he buys 1,936 ETH at 2,455 with 25x leverage. Liquidation line 2,406.8: every $10 move in ether is $19k on his account.
On the morning of 22 October ether is at 2,427, 0.85% above the line. ZEC is up $0.34M, and the price is 6.9% above its line at 1,178.5. The account holds $2.35M, all-time +$1.65M.
So the ether long gets back to zero if ether rises 1.2%, and the exchange closes it if ether falls 0.85%.
Update, 25 October. Within two hours of our snapshot he closed the ether and ZEC longs himself, with no liquidation: ether at a $78K loss, ZEC at an $18K gain. Then, in three days, every new bet lost money. On 22 October, a long of 9,598 XMR, about $6.2M: -$0.50M by the evening. The same day, longs on the NET and CRWD stock contracts, $7.4M together: -$0.30M. Overnight into 23 October, a $17.2M short on DRAM: -$0.45M in under six hours. From 23 to 25 October, longs on bitcoin and ether: -$0.22M. No liquidations, no new money in, nothing out. As of 10:20 UTC on 25 October he has no positions and $0.48M in the account. All-time he is $0.21M down, against +$1.65M on 22 October and +$18.8M at the peak on 25 September. We come back to the case when he trades again or money moves.

Evidence and limits
Wallet: 0x30afce2f6842bf183c7e3fe7162e279ff0b6393e. Every number comes from public Hyperliquid records: account and all-time result history, transfers, funding, trades. Anyone can check them at the address.
Money: $11.22M in ($10.59M in transfers from 0x6b9e...0a24, $0.43M from 0xf70d...dbef, $0.20M as a deposit on 17 October). Out: $10M on 26 September, plus 200 ETH ($0.50M) to 0x53eb...dee3 on 4 September and $20k to an exchange system address. The $2.35M account minus the $0.70M net put in gives the same +$1.65M all-time.
Both addresses the money came from send funds to hundreds of wallets: they are services, not a person. We do not link them, or 0x53eb...dee3, to the whale. Who is behind the address is unknown.
What we cannot see: the exchange returns this wallet's trades only from 12 October. The September NEAR and INJ positions are rebuilt from daily funding records (they carry position size) and the account curve; exact entry prices before 12 October are not available. The CBRS entry of 180.44 is derived from the result of the closing trades.
CBRS: the xyz:CBRS contract on the xyz market, which outside teams run on Hyperliquid (HIP-3); isolated margin only, up to 10x. The exchange records do not name the company behind the ticker. We do not assess the asset or the whale's decisions.
Arithmetic from 11 to 22 October: result +$12.05M; closed trades -$13.72M, fees -$0.20M, funding -$0.31M, open profit now +$0.27M; the -$3.56M of open loss on CBRS was already inside the $12.05M. Total +$1.65M. Liquidation on 17 October: 4,008 ETH, and the exchange record names this wallet as the one liquidated.
